Arizona - New Mexico Tourism

I will be traveling to Mexico next month, and I would like to know if you can help me to find good places to stay there, I mean, Guesthouses, Hostels, or Hotels but not those that appear on the ads, tour packages, books, sites as they will be very expensive as the trip will be in high tourism season.
